Music Ministry

Share the Gospel of Jesus Christ through music!

Participants in our music ministry share the gospel of Jesus Christ through music experiences. Whether you choose to sing in our choir, play handbells, offer an instrumental or vocal solo, or be a part of our praise team, you become an integral part of our worship team as you spread the word of God through music, encouraging and inspiring believers in their faith journey, and leading the congregation in worship.

Opportunities to Serve in Music

Adult Choir

Adults of all abilities join together to sing gospel, praise, and seasonal traditional choral music. Singers of all levels are welcome.

Rehearsals: Weekly, August to May,  5:00-6:00pm. We sing in worship on a rotating basis, usually once a month.

Bell Choir

This is a group of musicians from our congregation who play English Hand Bells. Membership in this group requires good sight reading/musicianship skills, and a desire to develop handbell choir experience, the commitment to attend rehearsals and worship as scheduled.

Rehearsals: Sundays, September to May, 6:00-7:00pm. We usually play once a month.

Children and Youth Music Ministry

At different times during the year, our children and youth prepare music selections for worship. Whether singing as an independent choir or as part of the adult choir, our children and youth are included as we continue to embrace our rich musical tradition. Youth also prepare solo musical selections for our “Special Music” time during worship.

Rehearsals: 3-4 weeks prior to a worship performance.

Our Music Director, Nancy Huskey, coordinates Special Music and conducts rehearsals for the Choirs and Jubilation Bells. Children and Youth rehearse as needed during Youth Group. If you would like more information about joining one of our Music Ministries, call the office and we will connect you with the right person!
